Personal training in Austin
Knowing you want to exercise is one thing. Knowing what to do when you get there can be harder. Kyzen helps you work through that with planned training, clear explanations, and support that fits your starting point.

If you’re new to training, we’ll take time with the setup, demonstrate the movements, and explain why they’re in your program. If you’ve trained before, we’ll discuss what you’ve been doing and where you want more direction.
Your sessions are part of a longer-term program. We plan and track the workouts, help with your form, and adjust the work as you develop. Weight training and calisthenics give us different ways to work with your goals, space, and equipment.
For in-person training, Kyzen travels within Austin and the surrounding area, focusing on North and Central Austin. A home, apartment gym, or suitable outdoor space can become the place you train.
Explore one-on-one trainingA plan with a purpose
You shouldn’t have to put together a routine from unrelated workouts. We start by talking about your experience, what you want from training, and what has made it difficult to keep up with. That conversation helps shape a program you can return to and review, rather than a different starting point every week.

Each workout sits within a longer-term plan. Your goals and available equipment help determine the exercises.
Review what you’ve completed and discuss what needs to change as your training develops.

I started my career in software engineering, with fitness as a personal interest. That interest grew into part-time work as a trainer at larger gyms and a focus on helping people understand how to train.
I’m a certified personal trainer with experience in weight training and a specialty in calisthenics. I take time to explain each exercise, listen to your concerns, and work with you on proper form.
Whether you’re learning your first movements or returning to a routine, I will start with your current experience. Advanced skills aren’t an entry requirement.
